James Hart is a man of integrity and has high moral values that are locked to his strong spiritual beliefs. Over the past 40 years James has committed his life to the service of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. As a result of his commitment, he has worked diligently to gain biblical knowledge and truths through the reading of the word of God and other spiritually relevant materials and books. As a result, he has become a strong scholar in the word of God and he uses this knowledge to help others navigate the challenges of life through God centered counseling.
Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, James has sought and achieved state required certifications that will allow him to help individuals within and beyond the walls of the church. God has allowed James to go through his own personal life challenges and having conquered them he now speaks from a place of understanding when helping others to achieve their goals. James has discovered his purpose and that purpose is to help other discover theirs by helping to remove the mental obstacles, through counseling that block and hinder their progress.~ The Chisolms
I have known James and Tabatha Hart for 6 years and have nothing but positive things to say. My husband and I just moved back to the Charleston area and was new to Faith Church Summerville. They took us under their wings and mentored us; and have been our earthly angels. Their leadership skills are impeccable. The many gift God has given them are truly being utilized wisely. The two of them work so harmoniously together and it evident as they continue to pour into our lives.
James and Tabatha has hearts of compassion and has demonstrated it to our family over and over again. Whether being comforters in times of grief or rejoicing over a new born , we can be confident that they will be there. There is no doubt in my mind that these two individuals will be an excellent additions to Mental Health field.

As a Law Enforcement professional and a combat veteran, I see the effects of Post-Traumatic Stress, Depression, Anxiety, and other mental illnesses daily. Not a day goes by that we are not answering a call for help because someone is considering taking their own life. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the numbers have skyrocketed, and many of those are teenagers or young adults. The current mental illness crisis is not going to be cured simply through medication, but rather through a healing touch from our Creator. I see this as a need for faith-based counseling and life-coaching services. For such a time as this, God has raised up men and women to answer the call to provide those services.
James Hart has been my leader, mentor, counselor, and friend for the last six years. In that time, we have had numerous discussions concerning the grip these issues have on our society. Mr. Hart is a Marine who served in the military, and through the grace of God, has overcame many of the struggles that today’s combat veterans continue to struggle with. More importantly, Brother Hart is an anointed man of God, who desires to serve God with every fiber of his being. In so doing, Mr. Hart along with his wife Tabatha, have answered the called to minister to those in crisis. With a compassionate heart and open ears, Mr. Hart will listen to struggles someone is going through and will offer Holy Spirit inspired guidance and healing to those in need. Mr. Hart has a personality that will allow him to relate to a young teenager going through the struggles of adolescence as well as the hardened combat veteran who is haunted by the nightmares of war. Using God’s Word as his guidebook Mr. Hart will lead one to the Ultimate Counselor, Jesus Christ.

"We were in a dark place a few years ago with our teen daughter. She seemed to be on the wrong path socially, morally and having a crisis of faith. She was struggling with an addiction to pornography and confusion about her sexual identity. She wanted freedom but could not find her way out and she felt like the darkness was taking over. We reached out to Mental Health Restoration and they took the wisdom they had learned and the grace that God has given them to help our daughter to see the lies of the enemy she had been believing. She gained an understanding of the physical struggles she was having with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and how they played a part in keeping her tied into a loop of negative thought patterns as well as the spiritual components that the enemy of her soul was pressing on her. These tools they gave her were important in helping her recognize the struggle for what it was and then giving her the knowledge to overcome through physical, emotional and spiritual disciplines. I am happy to say that now she is a much stronger and more firmly planted young woman. She loves the Lord, sings on a worship team and has healthy relationships with peers, family and a boyfriend of 1 year. She scored 75% above her classmates on the SAT and will be going to her college of choice next fall with an amazing academic scholarship. She’s on the journey of sanctification like the rest of us, but she is far from the dead end she was headed for before we counseled with this amazing couple at MHR. We are so grateful for their time, wisdom and prayers. We highly recommend their services. Thank you for helping our baby girl and our family in our time of need. God Bless you and yours." ~The Brekkes
I would like to express some of my thoughts and feelings as well as gratitude for what you and your team has done in mine and my grandson's life. Through the spirit of discernment I believe something was lost within him, his smiles and laughter was rare, he was reaching out for something but didn't understand himself what it was, and he continued to "Dwindle". But today he is totally a different young man, there is strength, maturity, accountability, and confidence that wasn't there before.
Thank you for our renewal, this isn't the frightened little boy you met when we begin our sessions, my grandson now knows whom to believe in and what he can stand
upon. ~ Retired Registered Nurse
The honorable Mr James Hart, has been a spiritual mentor, encourager and a friend. It is a friendship filled with deep, profound transparent conversation. He has blessed my life many times over, calling out those things in me that were laid dormant but that I so longed to do.He has provided me with the right information at the correct time for me to make the choice to grow and be transformed. Because of his influence, I find myself more confident to keep going, to attain my dreams despite the many obstacles that I encounter along the way.
This is the man God sent into my life to show me how to allow the grace of God to come upon me. To show me how to love and be loved by God. To be accountable to other leaders and to relate well to my peers. To invest in my own call for ministry. I can not fully express the gratitude I have for the influence in my life.

I thank both of you so much for being a steady supportive force in my life throughout this process. ~ Katherine
It was God's will how I got connected with the Mental Health Restoration Program. One day I was so upset, frustrated, angry and confused. During my morning walk, I was praying to God how to handle my marriage situation. My phone rang and it was a relative. I unload all my problems with her. She discusses a program that would help me with emotionally and spiritually.
My husband and I had communication problems and were on the verge of separation. I did not understand what he was going through and he wasn't ready to let me in at the time. I was backs-lashing with him because I did not know to communicate with him. Then my relative told me about this program.
I listened and it felt so right at the time. I shared this resource with my husband to see if he would like to join me with this program. He denied. So, I felt some kind of way due to me wanting this program so badly for both of us.
I spoke to the brother and Sister Hart about my husband who did not want to participate int the program. They explained to me that they can help me. They never pressure me with my husband to be part. They help me to understand that anytime he wants to join in they would welcome him in. This program helped me to understand some issues in my marriage. As we were addressing some of the issues about marriage Brother Hart break down some things that men go through as a man that were in the military that I never would of even imagine.
This agency provides me resources and Bible Base Scriptures that back up some the solution that they were given me. Sister Tabitha prayed with me almost every morning and encouraged me at the same time. The most value part of this program that I loved was looking at myself and how I respond in my action I also loved how the couple worked together gave their insight of husband prospective and wife prospective. Which included scriptures to read to back up what they were telling me. Even to this day, they both keep in touch. I am so glad that I was enrolled in this program. It definitely helped. I used the tools that they provided every day. I feel like I am a better me now. I see lots of growth in myself and husband. I don't know where I would of decide and see myself if it wasn't for this program.
Thank you both Brother and Sister Hart for taking the time to listen, praying with me through my journey as well as providing tools to strength me and my marriage.
Love you both. ~ Mrs. Washington
